Formation and Evolution of a Dust Cloud as a Result of TNT Detonation in a Borehole: Numerical Simulation

Here, we present a numerical model for simulating the formation and evolution of gas dust cloud that forms after detonation high explosive charges in boreholes. This provides possible method converting substance ejected from an explosion funnel into discrete particles (smaller stones) calculating movement these condensed their interaction with air–gas flow; this uses framework equations multiphase media motion. For modeling borehole explosion, focused on parameters commercial blasting are carried out at Lebedinsky open pit. The results initial stage mass 1000 kg presented paper. These demonstrate cloud, change different sizes air over time, spatial distribution.
